Serving foster youth in the community can bring many contextual factors to consider when providing services. There is a need for critical examination of the numerous ways in which culture, race, power, privilege, oppression, and environment impact service decisions and the relationship between youth and providers. This training is designed to support providers as they orient to working in the community with diverse youth. Participants will engage in a discussion to raise awareness regarding logistical and service related concerns when working with youth.
